Goldsmith's body found in Kolkata well, Investigation launched

Saimun Maiti, a goldsmith working in a Sinthir More gold shop in Kolkata, was reported missing since yesterday morning, prompting concerns from his family. Tragically, Saimun's lifeless body was discovered in a well near the shop around noon, leading to shock and grief among his loved ones. The family alleges foul play, asserting that Saimun was murdered and thrown into the well. The deceased goldsmith, residing in Bagada of Kismat naikundi Gram Panchayat in the Mahishadal police station area, had been supporting his family through his craft for approximately 14 years.

 Saimun Maiti, who had been working as an artisan in gold jewelry-making, had traveled to Kolkata from his hometown to seek employment and provide financial assistance to his family. His mysterious disappearance and subsequent discovery in the well have raised suspicions, prompting the family to assert that their only son was a victim of foul play. According to the family, Saimun had ventured to Kolkata with his brother-in-law for gold mining work, and his sudden death has left them in anguish. As the family copes with the tragic loss, they appeal for a thorough investigation to uncover the true circumstances surrounding Saimun's untimely demise.
